I've been using the GR06s for working out ever since I got them and they still looks great. In gen., a tune, song, air, lay, strain, note, sound, both vocal and instrumental (mostly poet. The GR06 cable feels just as good, though. Plus, the silver cable on the GR07 looks awesome. One more thing, I found the GR07 to be more comfortable, despite the housing being larger in size than the GR06. I don't think I could've done better for the $50 I payed for it. The GR06, due to being mid-centric, only really feels exciting when you listen to vocals focused music (like R&B, acoustic, etc). The GR07 felt more enjoyable with different genres due to it's natural sound. When I used the GR07 out of the Schiit stack, though, it definitely sounded better. I could also feel they had a more present treble, but it didn't make a big difference. The voicing was quite similar, with the GR07 having a more defined bass (in quantity and quality). When I first tried the GR07 after 8 months of owning the GR06, I didn't really notice that big of a difference.
